Kennedy Space Center, Fla. — Workers in the Space Station Processing Facility look at the cargo inside the Multi-Purpose Logistics Module Leonardo revealed when the hatch was removed. The MPLM has just returned from its maiden voyage to the International Space Station aboard Discovery on mission STS-102. Leonardo is one of three MPLMs built by the Italian Space Agency to serve as “cargo vans” to the Station, carrying supplies and equipment.
