About this work

This imagery shows how technicians at NASA’s Michoud Assembly Facility in New Orleans moved the structurally complete liquid oxygen tank for NASA’s SLS (Space Launch System) after it was finished with welding Jan. 8. The tank will form part of the core stage for the SLS rocket that power NASA’s Artemis III mission to the Moon. The liquid oxygen tank is undergoing dimensional checks and partial baffle installation in Cell D.
