Expedition 54 flight engineer Norishige Kanai of the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) waves as he waits to have his Russian Sokol suit pressure checked in preparation for launch aboard the Soyuz MS-07 spacecraft, Sunday, Dec. 17, 2017 at the Baikonur Cosmodrome Kazakhstan. Launch of the Soyuz rocket will send Tingle and fellow crewmates Soyuz Commander Anton Shkaplerov of Roscosmos and flight engineer Scott Tingle of NASA on a five month mission aboard the International Space Station.
