About this work
This image captured by NASA 2001 Mars Odyssey spacecraft shows part of an unnamed crater in Arabia Terra. The inner rim of the crater has numerous dark streaks. It is possible that these features form due to downslope material motion revealing the darker rock beneath the surface dust coating.
