Poniente Almeriense in Almeria, Spain is also known as the Sea of Plastic due to the multitude of greenhouses that cover the area. Typical agricultural products grown under plastic are watermelons, eggplants, zucchinis, cucumbers, peppers and tomatoes. The image was acquired April 19, 2019, covers an area of 22 by 37.5 km, and is located at 36.8 degrees north, 2.7 degrees west.
