About this work

One of the navigation cameras on NASA's Perseverance captured the rover's tracks coming from an area called "Witch Hazel Hill," on May 13, 2025, the 1,503rd Martian day, or sol, of the mission. The Mars 2020 Perseverance mission is part of NASA's Moon to Mars exploration approach, which includes Artemis missions to the Moon that will help prepare for human exploration of the Red Planet.
