STS109-E-5253 (4 March 2002) --- Astronaut Richard M. Linnehan, mission specialist, is about to wrap up the first phase of a seven-hour space walk in the cargo bay of the Space Shuttle Columbia. Linnehan's feet are anchored to a restraint on the end of the Remote Manipulator System (RMS) robotic arm. The piece of hardware putting on a bright glow in left foreground is the furled old solar array that astronauts Linnehan and John M.
