S69-33996 (18 May 1969) --- A cloud-covered Pacific Ocean, and the western part of the United States and Mexico, from about 12,800 nautical miles away are seen in this color reproduction taken from the second TV transmission made by the color television camera aboard the Apollo 10 spacecraft. The camera's zoom lens was used to get this view. The Pacific Ocean covers four-fifths of the picture. On the right is the land mass of North America.
