S75-27285 (April 1975) --- An artist's concept depicting an American Apollo spacecraft rendezvousing with a Soviet Soyuz spacecraft in Earth orbit. The two spacecraft are in a near-docked configuration. During the joint U.S.-USSR Apollo-Soyuz Test Project (ASTP) mission, which is scheduled for July 1975, the American and Soviet crews will visit each other's spacecraft while the Soyuz and Apollo are docked for a maximum period of two days.
