About this work
S99-E-5267 (13 February 2000) --- City of El Paso, Texas, and Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico and the Rio Grande River, which separates them. An electronic still camera (ESC), mounted in one of Endeavour's aft flight deck windows, is recording imagery of hundreds of Earth targets for the EarthKAM project. Students across the United States and in France, Germany and Japan are taking photos throughout the STS-99 mission.
