About this work
AS15-97-13160 (31 July-2 Aug. 1971) --- A view of a portion of the crater Tsiolkovsky located in the highlands on the farside of the moon, as photographed from the Apollo 15 Command and Service Modules (CSM) by astronaut Alfred M. Worden, command module pilot. Note the dark, flat crater floor surrounding the very prominent central mountains. The mountains are in the northeastern corner of the photograph. The other upland area comprises part of the southwestern edge of the crater.
