Whitson, Expedition 16 commander, works with an Extravehicular Mobility Unit (EMU) spacesuit in the Quest Airlock of the International Space Station. Whitson and cosmonaut Yuri I. Malenchenko (out of frame), flight engineer representing Russia's Federal Space Agency, are scheduled to perform the fifth session of extravehicular activity (EVA) while Discovery is docked with the station.
