ISS020-E-022321 (18 July 2009) --- On the second day of joint activities between the STS-127 astronauts and ISS Expedition 20 crew members, Canadian Space Agency astronaut Julie Payette and Japanese Aerospace Exploration Agency astronaut Koichi Wakata are pictured onboard the orbital outpost. They are among 11 astronauts and cosmonauts who remained inside the shuttle and station to provide support while two crew members performed the first spacewalk to continue work on the station.
