About this work

ISS023-E-024578 (15 April 2010) --- The Gulf of California (also known as the Sea of Cortez) and the Salton Sea, share this scene with a tiny part of the space shuttle Discovery (starboard wing at left) and the International Space Station (solar panels, upper right). The two spacecraft have been docked for several days as an aggregation of 13 astronauts and cosmonauts continue work on the orbital outpost.
