ISS026-E-029088 (24 Feb. 2011) --- From approximately 220 miles above Earth, an Expedition 26 crew member aboard the International Space Station exposed this still frame of parts of New Zealand including those impacted by an earthquake almost four days ago. This image shows portions of the city of Christchurch and includes a small area of the Banks Peninsula and Lyttelton Harbours. Banks Peninsula is made up of two volcanoes -- Lyttelton and Akaroa.
