iss068e043010_alt (Jan. 28, 2023) --- Roscosmos cosmonaut and Expedition 68 Commander Sergey Prokopyev services research hardware for the Plasma Crystal experiment inside the International Space Station's Columbus laboratory module. The space physics experiment observes the behavior of clouds of highly charged particles, or plasma crystals, in a specialized chamber that may lead to improved spacecraft designs, as well as a better understanding of plasmas on Earth.
