iss069e036839 (July 25, 2023) -- NASA astronaut and Expedition 69 Flight Engineer Frank Rubio works on thinning Arabidopsis seedlings in Plant Habitat-03 aboard the International Space Station. Rubio is thinning the sprouts to retain a singular healthy plant per unit as the crew continues ongoing investigations of assessing whether adaptations in one generation of plants grown in space can transfer to the next.
