iss071e651951 (Sept. 15, 2024) -- Tucked in the Tibetan Plateau is Lake Paiku. The lake stretches 17 miles (27 km) long and 4 miles (6 km) wide at its narrowest point. As the International Space Station soared 259 miles above, NASA astronaut Mike Barratt captured this photo.
