iss073e0422335 (July 23, 2025) --- The Special Purpose Dexterous Manipulator, also known as Dextre, the International Space Station's fine-tuned robotic hand, is pictured attached to the Canadarm2 robotic arm as the orbital outpost soared 263 miles above the South Pacific Ocean. Dextre performs precise maintenance capabilities on the space station, including removing and replacing small parts and performing photographic inspections, reducing the need for time-intensive spacewalks.
