S66-54938 (29 Oct. 1966) --- Astronaut Edwin E. Aldrin Jr., pilot for the Gemini-12 spaceflight, prepares to take a rest position during underwater zero-gravity training. His feet are secured to a mock-up of the adapter section of the spacecraft by a special foot plate. The underwater environment closely simulates the zero-gravity condition found in space.
