Duke Jr., lunar module pilot, prepare to begin a simulated traverse in a training area at the Kennedy Space Center (KSC). The fifth National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Apollo lunar landing mission is scheduled to land in the mountainous highlands region near the crater Descartes to explore the area for a three-day period.
