Peters of RSO, prior to participating in an underwater simulation of a contingency extravehicular activity (EVA) for his mission specialist assignment on NASA's STS-34 mission. He stands on a platform that will lower him into a 25-ft. deep pool, part of JSC's weightless environmental test facility (WET-F).
