About this work
STS068-237-055 (30 September - 11 October 1994) --- This coastal area, considered home by astronaut Peter J. K. (Jeff) Wisoff, was photographed from the Space Shuttle Endeavour during the Space Radar Laboratory (SRL-2) mission. Wisoff, a native of Norfolk, talked about this area during a post-flight crew awards and presentation event at the Johnson Space Center (JSC). He pointed out that the waterways are heavily used for commercial, recreational and military purposes.
