About this work
STS077-713-010 (19-29 May 1996) --- Like a number of Shuttle flight crews that preceded them, the members of the crew aboard the Space Shuttle Endeavour made eastern Florida one of their photographic targets. Both launch and landing sites are visible in the image. The Space Shuttle runway is at center. Above and to the left, along the coast, are the two main launch pads for the STS program. A road connecting the launch pads to the Vehicle Assembly Building (VAB) can be easily delineated.
