STS077-716-050 (19-29 May 1996) --- With part of the Pacific Ocean and almost the entire state of California as a backdrop, this scene of the Space Shuttle Endeavour’s cargo bay was photographed by a crew member on the aft flight deck. Spacehab-4’s module is in the foreground, flanked by the Canadian-built Remote Manipulator System (RMS) arm and the Spartan-207 payload, both in stowed position. Sunglint on the Earth scene accentuates the bay area of San Francisco.
