About this work
Dark ferrous metal, slightly curved, long narrow rectangular shape with vertical rectangular projection about 1/4 inward from a short edge. Curve more pronounced toward one side, similar to a wing leading edge. Projection consists of two thin metal pieces, .5cm tall and 1.2cm wide, soldered to the outwardly curved surface of the rectangle. Replica of piece used by Wright brothers for wind tunnel research.
