About this work

The seventh edition of Jacob Abbott Cummings’ <i>An Introduction to Ancient and Modern Geography</i> published in 1820 by Cummings and Hillard of Cambridge, Massachusetts. The book contained a description of nations and their states, as well as their prominent geographical features, with questions for students at the end. Cummings was both and educator and a publisher, becoming a teacher after graduating from Harvard in 1801.
