About this work
Wrought iron trammel. Two interlocked hooks hung from a lug pole allow a pot to be lowered or raised above an open fire. Flattened shaft with five rectangular holes and curled hook at top, terminating in outturned circular hole. Another hooked shaft is inserted into hole, a hammer-shaped hook is inserted to adjust height above the fire. No mark.
