About this work
Oblong hexagonal canister or caddy with crystallized, metallic gold finish; circular opening. Friction-fit cover, container and collar have soft-soldered lapped seams; slightly rounded, overhanging cover top, flat shoulder and projecting flat bottom have folded edges. No marks. Loose tea inside.
