About this work

"Tuxedo" pattern soup ladle with circular, rolled-rim bowl attached to a straight, hollow, scroll-bordered wavy handle. Symmetrical design on front and back features a small fan and 7-lobed pendant shell at top and an 8- or 10-petaled flower between opposed anthemions and C scrolls above a ridged band around center, from which a long, tapered leafy ornament descends; ends with an almost circular ribbed shell attached to back of bowl. No marks.
