About this work

Wool bunting swallowtail flag. Red field with blue union on the top hoist corner. Union has three white stripes; two of the stripes cross to form a saltire and the third stripe, or pale, bisects the saltire. Beneath the union are three white stars in a vertical row. The white hoist has an inscription that reads "3rd Div'n 3rd Brg 4th Army Corp Dept. of Cumberland."
