About this work

Wool bunting pennant flag. Blue field with white trefoil, or clover, in center of flag. Each corner has a hand-stitched red triangle; the edges of the triangles facing the trefoil are curved. White trefoil is hand-stitched. Machine-stitched unbleached pole sleeve. Machine stitching on flag in gold-colored thread. Several previous repairs. Fly tip cut and sewn back together. The inscription on the hoist reads "4 Brig 2nd Div 2nd Corps."
