Pencil and watercolor sketch on paper. The work depicts an American billet at Rambucourt, France during World War I. The sketch shows a large shell-torn building in use as a barracks for soldiers. The roof of the building is partially collapsing over an exposed section of the building. Soldiers are standing outside the building.
