This square-shaped glass drug jar is marked <i>ESS HELENI</i>. Heleni or Helenium refers to Enula Campana an herb with a yellow flower. In medicinal preparations the root of the plant is used to make tea for coughs as a diuretic, expectorant, and as a tonic.
