This blown and molded bottle is marked <i>SPIR MASTICHIN</i>, and would have contained Spirit of Mastichinae. This solution contained gum resin from the Pistacia lentiscu tree, wormwood, aloes, and canella bark. Spirit of Mastichinae would have been used as a cathartic.
