Jacquard woven ribbon with floral and botanical design of polychrome flowers with large green and brown leaves on black ground; narrow dark brown band along border with repeating design of dark brown circles with light brown center on interior side. Fabricated in St. Etienne, France between 1850-1900. From the Merci Train or Gratitude Train from France.
