Vase with pheasants and horses in landscapes

Porcelain vase with a body flaring upwards, round shoulder and a narrow, spreading neck with a raised rim, painted in underglaze blue. The belly is divided into two parts. The upper part with two pheasants - one flying, the other on a rock - in a landscape with flowering plants (peony, plum) and clouds. At the bottom two horses surrounded by flames, running above swirling waves and rocks. On the shoulder three compartments with a swastika pattern interrupted by a cartouche with peach branches; the compartments are separated by a ruyi motif. On the neck a band with pointed leaf motifs. A crack in the rim and one in the belly. Ming porcelain in blue and white.
