About this work

Bell-shaped porcelain cup, painted in underglaze blue. The wall with glazed rice-grain openwork; on the underside of the wall four symbols; around the rim lacework; on the bottom a flower sprig with butterfly; around the rim on the inside a decorative band. Marked on the underside with the four-character mark of Emperor Kangxi. Two cracks in the wall. Blue and white.
