About this work

Semi-circular rectangular stoneware vase with a short, wide neck, covered with a white slip, green and brown glaze. On the broad walls modeled flowering plants. The convex wall with a pine and a plum, the concave wall with a lotus. Old collector label on the underside with 'B.H. Benson Esq'. Satsuma.
