About this work
Round cup and lobed plate of porcelain, painted on the glaze in blue, red, green, yellow, aubergine, and black, with on the cup a bird with chrysanthemum branches, on the plate a bird in a plum branch near rocks and water. Crack in the foot ring of the cup. The cup likely does not belong to the plate, given the difference in red and yellow colors. Kakiemon style.
