About this work

Hexagonal charcoal burner (hiire) of stoneware, partially covered with a crazed, grey glaze and painted in underglaze blue. On the outer wall a broad band with fretwork and below that a narrower band with scrollwork. Three notches in the foot ring. The inside and underside are unglazed. Shino.
