Henan-ware tea bowls. China. Song period (960 - 1279). Glazed stoneware, Henan ware. The term Henan ware is used to describe tea bowls made in Northern China. Unlike Jian ware, for example, the forms and decorations used in Henan ware differ considerably. Westendorp bequest.
