About this work

Dust box or chaire of stoneware with a globular body and an ivory lid, covered with a cream-colored glaze and painted on the glaze in blue, red, green, purple, black and gold. On the belly an aubergine and fruit (persimmons[?], berries). Old label on the inside with 'Kyoyaki/ 19e/ trad. de ninsei[?]'. Nasu-type.
