About this work
Stoneware tea bowl, covered with a cream-colored glaze, blue enamel and painted in red, green and white. The lower part of the bowl is unglazed. The inside of the bowl is covered with a cream-colored glaze. The outside with lotus vines cut out in a background of blue enamel. The lower part of the outer wall with a band with blue dots. Marked on the underside with an unidentified, impressed three-character mark. Two chips in the rim. Kyo Gyuzan.
