About this work

Low stoneware pot with a flattened, globular body, wide opening and two S-shaped ears on the shoulder, covered with a glossy reddish-purple glaze (tea-dust). Old label on the underside with 'W661'. Possibly a Kyoto copy after a Chinese model.
