About this work
Bell-shaped cup of porcelain, painted on the glaze in red, pink, green, black, and gold. On the outer wall an unidentified coat of arms divided into four quarters with in 1 and 4 three flowers on a red background; 2 and 3 a ship on a white background. The crest is a tree surrounded by a saw standing on a crown. The mantling consists of acanthus leaves in white and red. Below and above the coat of arms a scroll with 'SUCCES IN TRADE' and 'THROUGH'. The other side of the outer wall with a lotus vine. The inner rim with a spearhead border. Two cracks and some chips in the rim. Armorial porcelain with enamel colors.
