About this work
Porcelain ewer, painted on the glaze in blue, red, pink, green, yellow, purple, black, and gold. On the wall, a grapevine and a stick to which a hat, a horn, and two coats of arms are attached, between the shields a garland; next to the scene two flower branches; the rim with a decorative pattern; on the handle a leafy vine. The coats of arms are of the families Visvliet and Sluymer (Zeeland). Heraldic porcelain.
