About this work

Porcelain bowl, painted on the glaze in blue, red, green, black and gold. On the outer wall twice an unidentified family coat of arms. The coat of arms is divided into nine compartments with in 1. and 9. two palm branches on a blue background; 2. a crowned sword; 3. and 7. a leaping deer on a red background; 4. a lion; 5. a gold chevron on a blue background; 6. a vertical gold band, two horizontal blue bands and one black; 8. a ship. The mantling in the form of leafy vines. Three crests: six peacock feathers flanked by flags; six flags; a deer with palm branches. Between the coats of arms a flower branch with peony and aster. The inner rim with a European band with shell motif and vines. Two cracks in the wall. Coat of arms porcelain with enamel colours.
