About this work

Long, octagonal porcelain salt cellar, painted on the glaze in blue, red, pink, black and gold. In the center the coat of arms of the Valckenier family. The coat of arms has in the center a tree stump with half moons on either side and a helmet with the falcon as a crest. The mantling is of leafy vines. On the rim a decorative band. On the sides four flower branches. A chip in the rim. Armorial porcelain with enamel colors.
