About this work

Oval, decagonal salt cellar of porcelain with lobed rim, painted in underglaze blue and on the glaze red, pink, green and gold. The top with a lotus plant, the rim with scrollwork alternating with stylized lotus flowers; the walls with scrollwork and lotus flowers with here in reserve two large and two small compartments with flowering lotus plants. A chip in the rim. European forms with famille rose.
